HAD to Share the Awesomeness!

OK! So, I know that I showed you the newest embroidered Awareness shirt.
But - it looks so much better, ON!
I am totally in love with it and can't wait to make more for myself and family.
(I decided to alter my shirt by cutting off the collar. I really like that look, all of a sudden!)

I am also really excited to begin getting orders and helping others spread their Awareness! One of my favorite parts of making these shirts, is talking a bit with people to get the perfect idea of what they are looking for.

I can't wait to show you my new design for Autism!!! (I plan to start on it very soon!)
I know, I get excited easily, but the awesomeness that I feel while making these shirts is nearly unmatched.

I had an epiphany the other day..
I realized that since I was a young teenager, I was being prepared for this path. This path, that I never would have expected.
It isn't just that it is something that I love doing. Though there is that!
I realized that THIS is my gift from God.
To take all of the feelings that I have and pour them into what I love, while I  spread his Word with and through, Awareness.

Once I realized that this wasn't just a small business that I was trying to start, but the path that has been laid out for me, it has given me even more passion. If that were possible.
I am doing all that I can to show people that Every condition deserves Awareness. Not just the ones people know about like Cancer, Downs and Autism.
Sadly, it just seems that those get all of the attention.
I'm not trying to say anything bad, I'm sorry if it seems that way.
I just want every condition to matter, -even (and maybe most especially) the rare ones. Imagine the funding that could be beneficial for new research, medications, testing and in so many other areas..

I want to do all that I can to help, how about you!?

Get Your Awareness On!!

I can't wait to see where this Awareness Journey leads me!

Spread Awareness for Deafness and Hearing Loss!

Happy Friday, Everyone!

I just wanted to pop in and show you the awesomeness that I created over the last 2 days! I can't contain myself!

If you remember, I mentioned that I am IN LOVE with the phrase that I came up with "I Hear with my Eyes".

I quickly realized that I want a similiar shirt for myself (like RIGHT NOW), but I needed to change it a bit for it to work.. Since I am supporting my son and not myself. ;)

Introducing- My Son Hears with his Eyes & My Brother Hears with his Eyes! <3
I'm also going to do one that says I Love Someone that Hears with their Eyes.
In my shop I will offer any phrasing that works for someones' situation.
(My mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, niece, nephew, kids, family, ect. Hears with his, her, their, ect.)

Adult Listing Found Here & Kid's Listing Here

I want to get this out there so bad I can taste it!
To me, these shirts are more than spreading awareness. They are telling people that my guy needs more than a small hello, while walking in another direction.. He needs to you SEE him. Connect with him. So he can understand that He is important!

I love raising awareness for my little Axel, but helping others raise Awareness is the best feeling!
Sorry about the hoop lines, lol, I was too thrilled to wash them first. <3

I can't wait to help YOU Get Your Awareness On!

I create Awareness Wear for any condition.

I Hear With My Eyes, Awareness Shirt!

Hello Everyone!
Here it is, the beginning of June, already. I hope the weather is going to catch up, soon! In Michigan, it's still mostly chilly. But hey, it isn't 30's!!

I am constantly thinking of phrases and sayings that I want to embroider onto things; mostly burp cloths but I am perfecting my Tshirts and blankets, too.

Now that we know Axel is deaf, I am trying to make him things that tell people, without having to come right out and say "I am Deaf"..
I'm hoping that if people are aware of his deafness, they will be more expressive and look at him while communicating.
Telling someone that he is Deaf is in NO way saying they shouldn't talk to him! I just want them to react to what they are saying and maybe try a little harder than they might with a hearing child/person.
ie, make eye contact, show how you feel as you talk (sad, excited, happy, ect.)and connect with him, so he knows he is important!

Anyway, I was sitting at my laptop yesterday, looking over the ASL hand signs that I have. While ruminating on what I wanted to commit to, it hit me.

The phrase fell into place and I fell in love!
My machine couldn't stitch it out fast enough!

"I Hear With My Eyes"

What could possibly say it better than that!?

Even better is that I asked for opinions from several deaf and hard of hearing people (in groups on facebook), hoping that my phrase didn't come off as insulting.. They love it! Whew!
I am thrilled to have found the *perfect* phrase and I can spread it around without worry that someone will take it the wrong way.

I already have these in my Etsy Store and I just began using Facebook Marketplace, as well. So far I do child's sizes but I am working on an adult design, as we speak. <3

I Hope you all have a fabulous week!
God Bless!
